Pre-order launched for limited edition vinyl, CD and digital album

Pre-sales for Wave Of The Flood’s debut album, FortyFive, are now live - marking a major milestone in one of the most ambitious independent music projects of the year.

Available now via Bandcamp, FortyFive brings together twelve singles released monthly over the past year - a creative endeavour inspired by both the artist’s 45th birthday year and the enduring legacy of the original single – the 45rpm record format.

The pre-sale offers fans the chance to be the first secure the full album ahead of its official release, including first access to a limited-edition vinyl pressing.

Produced by acclaimed folk musician Kris Drever and recorded at The Slate Room Studio, the album blends intimate acoustic arrangements with expansive, cinematic textures. Contributions from leading musicians - including double bass by John McDonald, and fiddle by three greats – Cameron Henderson, Dylan Cairns, and John McCusker – with John also adding accordion to a few of the tracks.

Across the record, Wave Of The Flood explores themes of love, loss, memory, and human connection, with each release offering listeners a glimpse into a different emotional story.

Fans can now pre-order FortyFive and support independent music directly via Bandcamp now.
