Wave Of The Flood is the musical alterego of singer-songwriter Lindsay Strachan.

Lindsay didn't set out to become a musician. After chickening out of studying music at college, she thought she’d left it for good. But, she bought a guitar in her mid-thirties and started writing the songs she'd been cultivating for years. Some of those songs became FortyFive - her debut album.

Inspired by contemporary Scottish folk, Wave Of The Flood tells stories about love, grief, friendship, growing older, and making peace with the thing’s life throws at us. They're songs for people who’ve lived a life.

Whether performing solo or alongside some of Scotland's best folk musicians, Lindsay creates gigs filled with stories and humour – as well as some tears. Truly a night to get lost in the songs for a while - and where some might stay with you afterwards.
