Fringe by the Sea 2026

I'm really proud to be part of Fringe by the Sea again this year. It’s crazy to think its been a full year since I supported Eddi Reader in front of 2000 people in the Big Top! As someone who calls North Berwick home, it's a festival that's incredibly close to my heart, and I can't wait to spend a few days celebrating live music alongside so many brilliant artists.

I've got a few different appearances across the festival, so if you're planning to come along, here's where you can find me!

Saturday 2 August

5.00pm – Listening Party with Seabass Vinyl

Dome Tent, tickets here.

I'll be joining a fantastic panel hosted by Seabass Vinyl, where each artist will share one of their songs on vinyl before chatting about the story behind it and the creative process.

I'm looking forward to being in excellent company alongside Fish - the legendary singer, songwriter and former frontman of Marillion, whose storytelling has inspired generations of musicians, as Edinburgh-based songwriter and visual artist Faith Eliott, who’s imaginative, genre-defying songs create beautifully distinctive musical worlds, and acclaimed Scottish singer-songwriter Lou McLean, known for her poppy, soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting. It promises to be a fascinating conversation, and I'm excited to hear the stories behind the music as much as I am to share one of my own.

Sunday 3 August

6.30pm – Wave Of The Flood half hour set

Lighthouse Stage, free unticketed

I'll be taking to the Lighthouse Stage for a set of Wave Of The Flood songs. Expect a set of heartfelt storytelling, folk-laden melodies and songs from my debut album, FortyFive. I’ll be joined on guitar by Mark Ellis, also known as Fair Weather Son.

7.30pm – North Berwick Songwriters Circle

The Lodge Stage, £8, tickets here

Then it'll be a quick dash across the festival site to join the wonderful North Berwick Songwriters for their annual Songwriters Circle. I'll be performing one song alongside a host of talented local writers in what is always one of the festival's most intimate and special events. I’m so proud of the group, we’ve become great friends over the last few years and it’s always wonderful to see them all shine on stage. And, soooo much talent!

Tuesday 5 August

7.15pm – Singing with Fair Weather Son

Lighthouse Stage, free unticketed

I'm also delighted to be joining my good buddy Fair Weather Son on stage to sing backing vocals during his Lighthouse Stage set. We've shared plenty of musical moments over the last couple of years, and I was chuffed to sing on his recent single “I choose love” so it'll be lovely to be part of this live too!

If you're heading to Fringe by the Sea this year, I'd love to see you there. Whether you fancy hearing about the stories behind the songs, catching a full Wave Of The Flood set, or simply saying hello around the festival, do come and find me. It's shaping up to be a brilliant week of music, and I'm so proud to be part of such a special festival on my doorstep. Well done to all of the incredible team behind the festival for all of the work they do!
